Sorry peep that I haven’t been made any entry this past few…erm..
Weeksss?
Been caught up doin everythin that is nothing for somethin that’s quite important lately
But anywhooo,
Here to greet:
Epi st.Patrick’s daeeee!!
So I was in Hyde Park, Sydney on Sunday, 15th march’09
They’re having this festival from 1pm…
They started the parade from 10 and then they have sorts of children’s little play park, stalls like:
Ps: I din manage to get a fairy floss tho I want it T-T
It looks so fun! And all the Irish with glasses of beers in their hand (in which they are famous for)
Wearing green shirts, hat, etc –or even shirtless as shown in the pic below-:
(Face being unidentified due to obvious matter)
Too bad it’s raining tho!
But it only started ard 5, so by then ppl are starting to go home anyway.
But it’s not the highlight of the day for me!!
Coz actually my planned was to get there earlier, but thennnn
When I tried to use my contact lens, I was sure that the lens was inside my eye when I realize it wasn’t there!
My friend, Van, and I tried to look up for it but couldn’t find any!
I was scared that:
a. it was stuck in the inner part of my eye
b. I need some laser or sth to take it out
c. I was just scared. Period.
With all the things that Van told me where they will put some anesthetic to my eye, and some yellow coloring for i-dunno-what-purpose, it doesn’t help me to calm down either.
So I went to Sydney eye hospital, wait for ages (ard 2 hrs) and they did put anesthetic in my eye, and they did put the coloring, they flip my eye lid, etc2…
But couldn’t find the lens anywhere…
I feel discomfort for a while afterwards, coz of the anesthetic I guess, and there’s some yellow liquid that coming out from eye from the coloring that the doc gave me, but apart from that, I felt quite relief!
Coz the doc said:
a. There’s no way the contact will stuck at the back of my eye because of the conjunctiva membrane on our eyelid that will prevent any object from entering the eye. And our eyes usually will naturally “throw” any object from the eye with the use of tears
b. The possibility is that it’s fold by half n stuck below the upper eyelid (which isn’t my case)
c. And I’ve read some info in the internet that eventhough it does stuck inside of your eye, you WILL NOT be able to open your eye coz it’ll be so sore, and u have to get a laser for that.
So, the doc said I might just drop it somewhere in the bathroom, nothing to worry abt…blab la…there goes my hundred dollars…
Anywho, went to St.Patrick festival afterwards, thought it might have closed by then (5 sth pm)
But managed to grab some poffertjes with maple syrup and chocolate fudge toppings.. XD
Still wondering where that lens goes tho…
