Istana Korea
Located infront of Grand Indonesia Mall, right next to Koreana Int. Rest.
I basically learned sth abt korean rest from this one. go to the one in which the owner is Korean. this one was bought by an Indonesian for quite a while.
Rating: 3/10
Noties: the food was so-so, but the rest didn't entertain me by the end of the dinner. mosquitos were everywhere, the air con didn't work properly, and surprise, surprise, a cocroach fell to my lap in the middle of the meal. oh my.

Gahyo
Located in Gading Sports mall on their 1st floor.
my friend told me abt this place, and i like it!
one of my favorite korean rest in Jakarta.
Rating: 7/10
Goodies: the jap chae's nice. love the yuk gae jang.
Noties: tried the clear beef soup (kinda milky in color). i know it's healthy stuff, but the taste just so weird...like eating beef in plain water. for this one, i think it's not the restaurant, but that's just how it taste in other rest too.

Arang
another rest located in Kelapa Gading.
i love this rest, but the price is just darn expensive.
Rating: 7.5/10 - based on food itself, exclude pricing
Goodies: like the pork bbq, the jap chae portion is also quite large. overall the food was nice. there's loads of compliment and side dishes too!
Noties: can't remember of any.

Gojumung
Located in Panglima Polim 9. heading south for this one
my fav!!!
Rating: 8/10
Goodies: loads of side dishes (in which 3 i think is coz my siz found a string of hair in the soup). yuk gae jang was gooodd...Bim Bim bap and bbq meet were nice too. the meet comes in v. small portion tho. so u'll spend quite a lot.
Noties: jap chae was bland. neither sweet nor salty enuf. some of the side dishes does not meet my expectation.



P.s: all of these ratings are based on personal view. none is intentionally being done to give a rather negative nor positive impact towards any restaurant.
oh! and sorry for no pic.. 'll update it if i found one.
