this is an original from a friend of mine that i met while i was studying in China.
she's living out her dream to spread her voice to the world. and i'm a proud friend. =)
and a topic she would bring out in this song is about sex trafficking.
i think this is such a taboo topic in the society. there's so much people tried to look away,
think it's their own choice to have it as a job,
think there's nothing they can do and that it's simply not a topic to be discussed.
but this song has kept me thinking.
when u think of it, many of them were "sold" since they were really young (even the vid said that they started out when they were just 10yrs old)
they knew less about bad or good.
many just follow life and path that their elders have been walking on.
do they have a choice?
were they born with one?
i hope this video or other means will go viral and it'll create more than just awareness
but also open their chance to choose and not just to follow.
